Combating Terrorism Center

The Combating Terrorism Center (CTC) was established in response to the attacks of September 11, 2001, with the mission of arming current and future leaders with the intellectual tools needed to defeat and deter terrorist threats.

This internationally renowned center connects academic experts with military leaders and other government agencies to facilitate research, education, and policy analysis at both the strategic and intellectual levels. The CTC is one of the nation’s largest providers of counter-terrorism education.

The field of terrorism is constantly evolving as terrorist groups continuously adapt to the changing environment in which they operate. In order for the United States to respond to this adaptive enemy, it too must evolve.

The Center aims to continue to equip our national leaders with the tools and resources needed to face these unprecedented challenges and protect our national security.
